Women’s History Month is always a meaningful moment for our firm—a time to honor the women who lead, build, advocate, and strengthen our communities every day. As a Certified B Corp, we are committed to advancing equity, expanding access, and supporting women in business and the legal profession. This March, that commitment came to life through a series of events that uplifted women leaders, entrepreneurs, and colleagues across Maryland.
Here are a few highlights from a month rooted in purpose and collective impact.
Resilient Voices, Enduring Impact: Honoring Women in Law
We began the month by supporting Resilient Voices, Enduring Impact, a program co‑sponsored by the Maryland State Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland. The series celebrated the leadership, resilience, and lived experiences of women in Maryland’s legal community.
We were especially proud to see two of our clients—Amanda Lee, CPC of The Lee Consultants LLC and Sefa Mawuli, CFP of Jade & Cowry LLC—featured among the voices highlighted this year. Their work, leadership, and commitment to community embody the very spirit of the program.
The series culminated in a hands‑on service project, bringing attorneys together to give back in a meaningful, tangible way. Natasha played a central role in organizing and executing the program, ensuring it was both reflective and action‑oriented.
EmpowHER 2026: Supporting Bold Women Entrepreneurs
We were also honored to support the Maryland Women’s Business Center’s annual EmpowHER: Building Bold Businesses in a Changing Economy event, a gathering designed to equip women entrepreneurs with practical tools, mentorship, and community.
Ginny served as a judge for the EmpowHER Pitch Competition, joining a panel evaluating innovative business ideas from women founders across the region. With more than 13 years of partnership with MWBC, she brought a perspective grounded in accessibility, legal clarity, and long‑term sustainability—values that guide our work with first‑generation and underrepresented entrepreneurs.
Supporting the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland

We closed out the month by supporting the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland’s Triennial Auction, which raises funds to advance women in the legal profession through mentorship, leadership development, and community programming.
As a firm committed to equity and access, we are proud to stand with organizations that champion women attorneys at every stage of their careers.
Looking Ahead
While Women’s History Month offers a special opportunity to highlight this work, our commitment to supporting women—clients, colleagues, entrepreneurs, and community partners—continues year‑round. We’re grateful to everyone who made these events meaningful, and we look forward to continuing this work in the months ahead.
